The nation has grown significantly over the last half century. Since 2076 when the Parliament was set at 249 members, the Democratic Republic of Hutori has grown by 9 million citizens. MessageNo need. Especially as there are only really 3 active parties. And its Hutori.

MessageWith now only two "active" parties. I feel this legislation is more important than ever for both the growth of civil liberties as well as the development of the newer parties. Just because parties have no seats because they are new, doesn't mean they are not active. Your party had to start off small at one point as well, keep in mind.

MessageI also call attention to the Further Increasing of Parliament Bill of 2073. http://82.238.75.178:8085/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=7732

The legislation of that bill was only to stop an increase until the population of Hutori exceeded 49 million. We now have well over 55 million. Also, I believe the Socialist Party of Hutori was in favor of further increases provided they were regulated. Of course opinions change, but I'm just trying to build up support.

MessageInstead of an increase in seats...which in a way i would be for, what we need is to try to get more parties involved in the goverment. Which will require everybody to be as active as possible.

MessageI'm moving this into voting after next election if we get up to at least 4 parties with seats.

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.
