Bill: Home School Legalization

Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2134
Description[?]:
We fully support mandatory schooling, though also understand that some parents (usually those who are fairly religious) believe homeschooling to be the most effective way to teach their children. As long as they follow set regulations, they should have the right to teach their children at home. |

Message | No, we believe home schooling can never reach the same level of education by professional teachers. Apart from that a child might miss out immediate response, teamwork/motivation, communication skill, and not least new social contact. After all, if we regulate private schools, we cannot provide a new backdoor to slip out of quality education. |
Date | 03:11:33, November 01, 2005 CET | From | United Centrists | To | Debating the Home School Legalization |
Message | We do have more faith official school systems, though still firmly believe that parents should have the right to choose the method of schooling (whether it be public, private, or home-based). Besides, the number of homeschooled children would never be enough to throw the education system into chaos. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
Random quote: Henceforth, the current system of first and second class stamps, where the rich can pay to have their mail delivered faster than the poor, shall be BANNED. There shall be only one class of mail delivery, and ALL mail shall travel at the SAME speed for EVERYBODY. There can be no class discrimination in the People's Post Office! There must be the SAME class of mail service FOR ALL! ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
