Message | Despite what I would like, our national anthem isn't a prayer, so your arguement is somewhat moot. |
Date | 10:02:28, October 29, 2005 CET | From | Ecotopian Party of Kalistan | To | Debating the School Anthem Act |
Message | Nationalism is a religion of sorts, which is why so many cultural totems are regarded as sacred (ie, the issue of flag burning etc.) Personally, I don't think children should have to perform the national anthem at all, but we would be willing to vote for this as a step back from the current regressive policy. |

Message | Is our nation not important? Pretty soon you guys will stop teaching Kalistani history in school. |

Message | My apologies, this i tried to redo this bill, but i guess i didnt hit the right button. My original plan was prayer in school, but there was none on the proposal list, so we have changed it to the national anthem. Again, my apologies for the mistake |

Message | Ah, well, I'm still agaisnt it. Instilling a bit of nationalism into our youth is a great idea. |
Date | 22:54:30, October 30, 2005 CET | From | People's Moderate Party | To | Debating the School Anthem Act |
Message | There's a difference between inspiring our youth with freedom and forcing them to observe it. How can we say we are "defenders of freedom" or a "freedom loving people" if we cant allow a simple choice of wether our kids can say the anthem or choose not to? |
Date | 23:05:08, October 30, 2005 CET | From | People's Moderate Party | To | Debating the School Anthem Act |
Message | We respectfuly ask the Ecotopian Party to explain their statement in the above debate and their current "no" vote for this bill. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
