Bill: Socialist Energy Production Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2866

Description[?]:

We propose that all energy production be brought under the control of a single state owned energy provider. Currently energy is distributed by a nationalised company, so we can't see the point in it being extracted by private companies.

MessageMr. Speaker,
We see the need to take energy production of the people into State control to ensure monopolistic corporations don't take advantage of said people by charging high rates. However, we would prefer to see article 2 changed to local regions controlling the grid for their region. That way, each area can have it's individual needs met. I yeild.
