| Message | Can we remind parties that this was the text of our "Sex on Television Act", that allowed the law as it is: "Whilst this Act allows sexually explicit content to be shown all day, this is restricted to television channels that specify that they are channels dedicated to the broadcasting of sexually explicit content. For mainstream channels, during the day nudity may be shown, and if sexually explicit content is desired, there must be clear and constant warnings. However, the current legislation needs to be changed to allow pornography channels to prosper as well as any other company." It is therefore clear, that only pornography channels can broadcast pornography all day long. Mainstream channels cannot. |
