Bill: Right to Strike Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative-Libertarian Party (UM)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2869

Description[?]:

This Act emphasises the rights of individuals to go on strike, but believes that the government has no place in the employer's decision on how to deal with strikers. All parties should know the risk involved. Should the employer be unsatisfactory, he should expect workers to strike. Should workers strike, they should also know there is some risk involved. The employer is unlikely to ever fire all of his workers, as this will then leave him with no staff.

MessageElaborate on where this act strengthens the arsenal of "civil liberties" on offer to the people? This bill is removing their only weapon against skint flint employeers and profiteers.
