Bill: Corpus Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: United Socialist Front

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2135

Description[?]:

The human body is a work of art, and we are all born with it.
Repression of this often leads to extreme wanting or hating of the human body, whereas it being a constant or frequent presence makes it more than acceptable, if even noticeable.
If most people don't like nudity, then most people may continue wearing clothes.
This does not endanger people, nor causes suffering, and so should be legal.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.

Random quote: "If democracy is ever to be threatened, it will not be by revolutionary groups burning government offices and occupying the broadcasting and newspaper offices of the world. It will come from disenchantment, cynicism and despair caused by the realization that the New World Order means we are all to be managed and not represented." - Tony Benn
