Bill: Alternative Debate Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Neo Republican Party!

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2045

Description[?]:

In this Bill I propose that Bills should remain under debate for at least 24 (real time) hours or untill there have been at least three comments from different parties, therefore allowing the vast majority of active parties to see the Bills and have their own say in the debate. Going to vote before this should be criticised and may lead to a no vote.

Although commenting is not compulsary, it would be noted that in the spirit that this country should be ruled in, it would be considered beneficial for inter party relations.

PROPOSAL: A bill will be required to be held open for debate for 24 (Real time) hours before it will be allowed to be called to a vote,

MessageHmm. 24 hours is a bit short. 48 maybe?

MessageAnd how will you check if a bill really has been up for 24 hours? This bill also gives the possibility, in this form, to cut out the debate by posting bills during holidays etc. The three party thing is quite alot better to be honest. and after all, I think we are all adults here and we will not start with childish things like not commenting. 3 partys + yours is after all half of the legislative force so you should always be able to get the comments required. and no is also a comment, it doesn't take much

MessageThis won't work. Please refrase it so it really says that the minimum is 24 hours but if 3 parties have commented it could proceed to voting before that time is passed
