Bill: Nuclear Power Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Novy Smer Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2134

Description[?]:

We can't keep burning fossil fuels forever! Fortunately our nation is already investing heavily in research towards alternative power sources, but in the meantime we need to have a cleaner, reliable source of power. Nuclear power is much cleaner and safer than it used to be and we should encourage it's development - at least until there is a better option.

MessageWe seriously think the Novy Smers have lost their minds. But if they want to be the ones to take the publics health and safety as such a joke, we can only hope they don't get reelected.

MessageThe NL Party fully supports the development of alternative energies, especially nuclear energy as an efficient and clean energy source. However, we do not believe the government should be subsidizing this industry, especially when so many people object to nuclear energy.
