Message | OOC: If this happened a few months ago, I would have agreed to ratification, but the recent amendment to the pax cynica makes the whole concept of New Englia illegal because it is under the control of a single player. |

Message | OOC: Gentlemen, if I may, New Englia is not considered illegal at all. If I am not mistaken, which I don't think I am in this case, it was agreed to by the players in Kirlawa to allow one player to administer the day to day activities of the protectorate because he was/is the most active in Kirlawa. However, all the decisions are still made by their legislature. I recommend you ask the players in Kirlawa directly. Hope that helps! |

Message | OOC: In order for New Englia to be legal, all decisions regarding that land need to be made by the legislature of Kirlawa. Since Afrocentric has done things completely on his own without a mandate from the legislature, then New Englia is most certainly illegal. |
Date | 20:50:38, January 19, 2010 CET | From | Urban Party of Kirlawa | To | Debating the Ratification of the Recongnition of the Republic of New Englia |
Message | New Englia is no longer a protectorate of Kirlawa and functions as its own country and therefor is not subject to any laws of Kirlawa. I agreed to take over the activities of New Englia when it was granted its independence and this should not be seen as a violations of the rules. |
Date | 00:08:08, January 20, 2010 CET | From | Latter-Day Saints Party | To | Debating the Ratification of the Recongnition of the Republic of New Englia |
Message | OOC: The rules specifically state that "no colony can be owned or administered by an individual player, party or party organisation." That makes New Englia illegal. |
Date | 03:32:16, January 20, 2010 CET | From | Urban Party of Kirlawa | To | Debating the Ratification of the Recongnition of the Republic of New Englia |
Message | OOC: New Englia is country not a colony and has been that way for almost 100 years. |
