Message | I am glad that the United Democrats will support our reforms for the banking system, as we need a strong central bank to provide stability to our economy. While we wish they would support our plans for affirmative action, we will drop it if it allows the passage of this bill. As for the stock exchanges, I would urge the UD Party to support this. To allow traders to run wild and put our economic system in great danger is not acceptable. We need to check the powers of a few in order to protect the masses. Businesses that operate in Rutania, but are not owned by Rutanians, will not have the best interests of this nation at the front of their minds. While we welcome their investments, a majority of a Rutanian business should be owned by Rutanians. I urge the other parties to support this provision. Henry Cosgrave, Chairman Latter Day Saints Party |

Message | We are willing to support the stock exchange bill for now, but should it have a negative effect on the economy we would expect it to be changed back. However, we cannot enforce regulation on whom may own a business, according to their nationality. And again, we will never support affirmative action/positive discrimination. The banking article is still supported by us. |

Message | If the regulations on the ownership of a business is an issue for the UD Party, then we shall remove it from this bill. |

Message | Now we can support this. We would like to congratulate the LDSP on their openness to negotiate and compromise. |

Message | Likewise, we congratulate the UD Party on their willingness to negotiate as well. |
Date | 04:43:45, January 21, 2010 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party | To | Debating the Economic Reforms Act of 2881 |
Message | We would support both the remaining articles. |
Date | 09:15:29, January 21, 2010 CET | From | People's Union for Upturn and Openness | To | Debating the Economic Reforms Act of 2881 |
Message | First of all the PUUO, as a member of the opposition, wishes to congratulate the LDSP with the planned changes to the banking system. We are confident that this will stabilize our economy. However, we are astonished by the fact that such a wise decision is completely destroyed by the decision to regulate stock exchanges. This will, without a doubt, negatively influence the willingness of investors to invest in our economy. Therefore, we demand all parties to reconsider this article, and if accepted *turns his head towards the UD* we hope all parties will remember their reservations and have the courage to change this article as soon as we see the expected negative impact on our economy. |
Date | 03:57:49, January 23, 2010 CET | From | Freedom Party | To | Debating the Economic Reforms Act of 2881 |
Message | The Freedom Party: does not support the proposal in article 1 to create a central bank. does support the proposal in article 2 to create a regulated stock exchange. |
