Bill: Infrastructue Improvement Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Reform Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2883

Description[?]:

This bill will increase the stability of our national infrastructure by allowing private companies to invest and create infrastructure. Under the current law, only small, inefficient private power plants are allowed to operate, disincentivising investment. By diversifying our power infrastructure to include both public and private power plants, we will strengthen it.

Secondly, government subsidies have no place in the free market, period. While there are sometimes made exceptions for things such as Pharmaceutical Research, such subsidies should not be made for renewable resources. If such changes are to be made, they must be made by the private second spurred by investment opportunities, not government subsidies.
