Bill: Political Office Names Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Constitutional Monarchy Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2887

Description[?]:

Laird is the traditional Beluzian name for our leader, and it can be accepted by both monarchists and republicans alike.

The other tites offer us the chance to have institutions who; are firstly not named after a single political party (how they were ever passed is beyond me); and secondly, can accurately describe what they are there to do.

(I will leave this up for a day or so, then people can have a chance to suggest alternatives)

MessageOOC: Minister of State simply describes what the person holding that position does. He is the head of government, therefore the highest minister of state. Laird is Scottish actually, no Lairds in England.
