Bill: Comprehensive Gay Rights Treaty Withdraw

Details

Submitted by[?]: Kristen Nationalisten Partiet av Kazulia

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2889

Description[?]:

Understanding that homosexuals are already afforded excellent rights in the nation of Kazulia, and with knowledge that homosexuals naturally have the same rights as any other citizen, but with knowledge that many members of the military express extreme concern with foreign interference noted in Article 2 of the Comprehensive Gay Rights Treaty, it is the intent of the government ministers for Defense and Education and Culture to ask this body to withdraw from said treaty, with the end goal of reforming military policy regarding homosexuals in the armed forces of Kazulia, and the assurance that no changes will be made to minority rights outside of the military sphere.

Respectfully Submited,
Sanne Lindholm, Minister-elect for Education and Culture
Rear Adm. Gunnar Hellström, Minister-elect for Defense

MessageWe will vote yes as soon as KNP confirms that minority rights will not in ANY matter be affected. I.e KNP won't try to change the minority rights laws to miscreant them.
we understand the extreme concern but as long as we are concern it is not not a major problem of the armed forces. our reasons for voting yes is that we think that this where to much interfered national law. We will not accept any changes of rights to the bad point noted.

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too.
