Bill: Speciality Policing Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Union of Work-Shy Elements
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2135
Description[?]:
The military have no place on Kundrati streets. Soldiers are trained to be in the military, to fight and to operate in extreme situations. They do quite a different job to the police force. The police are extensively trained to deal with the public, soldiers are not. Deploying the military on the streets would only serve to antagonise citizens and inflame any unrest. Leave the policing to the police! |

Message | What if there is a natural disaster? Wouldn't it be in the nation's best interest to use the military in rescue operations and to quickly restore stability? The police forces can't always handle such major disasters on their own. |
