We wish to end the economic dis-incentive that is the minimum income bill. However, the Progressive Party recognizes the need for the unemployed and victims of economic hardship some time to get back on their feet. Therefore, the maximum amount of time that one can receive these benefits shall be one year. |

Old value:: All adults shall be guaranteed a very basic subsistence income by the government.
Current: All veterans shall be guaranteed a very basic subsistence income by the government.
Proposed: All adults not supported by another person shall be guaranteed a very basic subsistence income by the government. However, the provision of this is not to exceed a certain period of time.
