Bill: Anarch Anakrousite Shatter Spending Reform Proposal - (2134)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Commonwealth Workers Army

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2135

Description[?]:

The Anarch Anakrousite Shatter propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Republic of Likatonia.

The intended Spending legislation involves some more cuts to the relatively 'inactive' areas of government spending - the Foreign Department, the Internal Affairs Department, the Finance Department, and the Head of Government office.

Core spending, on the other hand, is suggested to remain at current (or near current) high expenditure levels - although the AAS is open to suggestions on this matter, obviously. 'Core' Spending would be in the offices of Defence, Education, Science, Health, etc.

This Spending Bill aims to lower government expenditure by about 16 billion LIK. Taxation cuts ARE expected to follow.

Random fact: The influence a bill has on elections decreases over time, until it eventually is no longer relevant. This can explain shifts in your party's position to the electorate and your visibility.

Random quote: "Public schools are government-established, politician- and bureaucrat-controlled, fully politicized, taxpayer-supported, authoritarian socialist institutions. In fact, the public-school system is one of the purest examples of socialism existing in America." - Thomas L. Johnson
