Message | I disagree. Religious institutions rely solely on donations for any type of income. |

Message | Hmmm... We are very much on the fence in this issue. Religious institutions aren't in the market for profit (or shouldn't be; should be in the market for spiritual well being) But some are anyways... rrr... We would vote against unless someone convinced us otherwise. |

Message | Religious inst. receive donations from their followers as their form of income. The leaders of these inst.'s make money off the service which they provide people, and that to us is like a business. However, we believe that NOT taxing charitable donations is the perfect balance as it will keep the government's hands off the money that is meant for good causes. |

Message | Religion gets too many benefits thats why they are so wealthy. They are organizations and should pay tax like everyone else. All those tax free perks are costing all us of money. Tax free means no tax is paid on any goods or services at all, so they dont pay anything yet collect all. Also this Bill still allows for no tax on donations. At least this way they pay tax on all those buildings they own. |
