Bill: Freedom of Religion
Details
Submitted by[?]: People's Moderate Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2135
Description[?]:
We believe in being tolerant to varying ideas, and these ideas include religion. This current bill is a harsh restriction on religion in this nation. We believe alloweing people and churches to advertise is their legal right to do as they please. May we also point out that the prohibition of Religious advertising "of any sort" is contradicted by another of our policies that states that "all forms of advertising are legal". Thus to solve this ambiguity and protect our freedoms, we introduce this bill. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government policy towards evangelism and religious advertising.
Old value:: Religions are not permitted to promote themselves or advertise in any manner whatsoever.
Current: Religious organizations are not permitted to actively promote themselves or advertise, however evangelism is permitted by individuals.
Proposed: Religions are permitted to freely promote and advertise themselves.
