MessageAllowing religous schools introduces a mandate for the brainwashing of children. Young children can be easily influenced by religous rhetoric, and turned into commited believers (and donaters). We must oppose this bill in the interests of the mental well being of our children.

MessageWell in the same vein of thought state schools and private schools can be used in much the same way, brainwashing children into supporting the state and certain private companies. Children are far more likely to develope their own views, or the views of their parents than they are of their teachers. Surely in the spirit of freedom of choice parents must be given the right to send their children to religious schools, I do not see the point in denying parents the right to have their chil educated in the faith the child was baptised in. Heck are we going to ban attending church, because it may brainwash churchgoers? This is nonsense.

MessageIf we had the chance we would indeed disolve all organised churches. In addition we also would prefer to see home and self education becoming a viable and preferable alternative to school education.

MessageHome education does occur, and we fully support it, it is certainly our favoured method of teaching. But their are parents who wish for their children to be taught at religious schools, why should we deny them that choice? Education is not about brainwashing, whereever it may be.

MessageEducation is little but brainwashing, unless it is self education.

MessageWoa Malfico children who are taught in a religion become ardent believers? Then what happened to like 80% of American youth? I don't see them going to church every day. Religious education can be very beneficial because it is run by people the kids trust and tought in a manner they are used to. This also teaches spirituality to children which can quickly dissapear if it isn't tought (take america as an example). My motto is Perfect Mind, Perfect Body, Perfect Spirit. This would help attain one of those goals.

MessageFrom the outside i would say that the effect of so many religious schools in america is obvious. You just have to look at its insane policies. or visit godhatesfags.com

MessageSo? That is an internet site. There are also plenty of atheist sites that contain the same derogatory messages. Anyhow if you took the time to read the bible, Jesus said to show love for eveybody, including sinners. That means gays. Proper religious teachings help people. Look at people who do suicide bombings. They claim it as a jihad against infadels. This is not the proper teachings of the script. It is some yoohoo somewhere in a cave perverting sacred text to make a point. You say there are soo many religious schools. How many people do you know go to a religious school? Almost none. People who do that are a minority in america.
