Bill: HoT Bill #8 Higher Education Funding

Details

Submitted by[?]: Heaven on Terra (IA)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2900

Description[?]:

Heaven on Terra firmly believes in higher education, as our leader James Brother is a product of it. Knowing how difficult it is to pay education upfront without some kind of help and knowing not all will be able to get help from private industry, Heaven on Terra proposes that we offer loans that must be paid back to the government. Loans that will allow our people to be more educated and for us to show that we care about our future.

MessageMr Speaker,

While we appreciate the good sentiment behind this proposal, we believe that private charities and churches are much more quallified for this job than the government.

I yield.

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire.
