Message | As long as this does not inhibit our ability to sufficiently care for our own populace, we will support. |

Message | Where is this money coming from? Is this being drawn from the taxation budget that we, literally, only just created? We agree in principle... and we're going to back this, because it's what our constituents want... but we'd really like to know how the CDP were planning to pay for it. |

Message | Possibly from the your taxation budget or taxation from corporations since the lowering of corporation profit tax. We also believe that such a policy may in the long term financially benefit our nation as developing poorer nations means we could benefit from trade with these countries in the future. We are welcome to other suggestions if this is not satisfactory. |

Message | You think LOWERING corporate tax is going to provide tax-LIK you can spend on foreign aid? Seriously? Don't ask US to pay for your proposal - it's your proposal. If the CDP don't have a plan to pay for it, they shouldn't have proposed it - now you're just driving Likatonians into debt. |

Message | Well yes, there were no corporations making business while the tax was at 100%, as it would have been a complete waste of time. Now the corporation tax is lower there will be businesses forming and so more tax for this proposal. |
Date | 03:34:19, February 28, 2010 CET | From | Throne of Immeressen | To | Debating the Aid to foreign countries |
Message | Likatonian business hasn't been noticably hampered, actually. Because most of Likatonian business, for the last few centuries, has been largely run for no-profit... so taxing profit at 100% or 1%... is the same thing. |
