Message | Frivilous waste if time. The cost of allowing convicted felons to clog up our courts with disingenuous appeals, not to mentions the delays it would present, is intolerable. Any decent Likatonian citizen would happily serve a few years in error than allow criminals this sort of hold on the nation. |
Date | 03:31:16, February 28, 2010 CET | From | Throne of Immeressen | To | Debating the The right to appeal |
Message | We're going to have to agree with the ICW on this one. This is the second ridiculously 'spendy' bill we've seen from the CDP, that wantonly pours money into no-gain ventures, with no explanation of how we're going tto make up the cost. |

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
Random quote: On 7th February 4281 a group of renowned Metzist experts from all across Terra met in Haldor to form the International Committee for the Estimation of the End Date of Capitalism (ICEEDC). With the assistance of a powerful computer, they calculated that capitalism will terminate Terra-wide on 6th November 4320, and in Dorvik on April 17th 4310. We have no reason whatsoever to believe these very eminent and learned scholars are wrong. They have never been wrong about anything before. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
