[1] Fundamental Freedoms All citizens have the: (a) Right of the individual to life, liberty, security of the person and enjoyment of property and the right not to be deprived thereof except by due process of law. These rights include: (i) The Right to be treated as a Living Human from conception until natural death (ii) The Right to Ownership of Private Property (iii) The Right to Keep and Bear Arms (iv) The Right to Self Defence (b) Right of the individual to equality before the law and the protection of the law without discrimination and, in particular, without discrimination based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, age or mental or physical disability (c) Freedom of religion (d) Freedom of speech (e) Freedom of assembly and of association (f) Freedom of the press [2] Democratic Procedure (a) All citizens that meet the minimum voting age are allowed to vote (b) No Legislature shall last more than 5 years unless in the case of war (c) The Legislature shall sit at least once every 12 months, be it in the form of a bill, budget, proposal or other legislative action [3] Mobility All free citizens have the: (a) Right to enter and leave the country (b) Right to reside and pursue happiness in any region of the country [4] Legal (a) Right not to be arbitrarily detained, imprisoned or exiled (b) Right not to have methods of cruel and unusual treatment or punishment used; (c) Right to a counsel, reason for detention, habeas corpus (d) Protection against self-crimination (e) Right to a fair hearing (f) Right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to the law in a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal (g) Right to reasonable bail with just cause (f) Right to the assistance of an interpreter |
