Message | You are joking. Keeping wild animals as pets is not only dangerous to the owners and the animals alike, but also does not take into account the danger that these animals can pose to the neighbours and general public at large. This is one of those times when personal freedom must take a backseat against social security. These animals are deemed as wild for a reason, i.e. they are undomesticated, they are not entirely controllable and are generally considered dangerous. Wild animals are not pets, they are, as the description says, wild. They should remain in wild habitats and, if they must be removed from said habitats, then they must be kept in strict secure areas like zoological institutions or national parks, not in cages in someones back garden. This law is dangerous and apocryphal, and we call on all right-thinking Parties to join with us and vote against this foolish and possibly disasterous law. |

Message | Are you going to send out the wild animal police to check homes to make sure there are no animals? People will always own wild animals, fighting it is a foolish and disasterous for the resources available. |

Message | Why will people always own wild animals? Again, you're making things up in order to defend your position. It is quite simple to stop the spread of wild animals as pets. The importation of said animals is stopped, and any found are confiscated and the people importing are charged or imprisoned. If the people having native wild animals, then a similar procedure is followed. It is quite likely that a neighbour will report any wild animal sightings to the local Police or animal protection group, at which point animal protection officers and, if necessary, police are sent out to confiscate these animals and the owners charged or imprisoned. It's not difficult, it's not exceedingly expensive and to use the argument that "it'll happen anyway" is no reason not to try and stop it. People will speed on the roads, so should we remove all speed limits? People will murder each other, so should we remove all laws pertaining to murder? The answer is no. Let common sense, for once, actually mean something and not try and pass this foolish and possibly dangerous law. |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
