Message | AVNG supports a restoration of the monarchy since traditionally, Keymon has had an hereditary monarch. On a less important note, we would also like to know who the NCP may be supporting for accession to the throne, we hope that they will at least consider our claims. If our claims are accepted I can assure the NCP that I will not abuse the post of ceremonial head of state to destabilize them and most definitely WILL NOT do anything to subvert the democracy of Keymon. We wish a return to the monarchy only as a tradition, not an actual ruler, while AVNG takes a more conservative position than the NCP we are still strong supporters of democracy. If our claims are not accepted we would still be interested to know who the NCP will put forward, will they restore another hereditary line, or will they begin a new dynasty irrespective of current hereditary claims? Respectfully, Lord Henric Avingnon, 6th Earl of Avingnon and Head of House Avingnon. |

Message | As long as the new monarch has no actual power, AVNG will most likely vote yes, but we are still waiting to hear who the NCP will support to be a symbol for our country. Sir James Pole, Charmain of AVNG |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
Random quote: "The 20th century has been characterised by three developments of great political importance: the growth of democracy, the growth of corporate power; and the growth of corporate propaganda against democracy." - Alex Carey |
