Bill: Independence for the City State of Solion

Details

Submitted by[?]: Kanjoran Imperial Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2138

Description[?]:

The city of Solion should have independence from the rest of the country. Solion is a city high up in the Essalian Mountain range of Vagderra. Many outsiders believe that it is only a myth because of the city's remote location and century old tradition of excluding visitors from anywhere.

If this bill passes, we will recognize Solion and the surrouding 50 mile radius as a quasi-Independent city-state under the joint command of the HoG and the Emperor. It will not have it's own parties or any other international recognition, but we will allow for the Consul to make mandates that will become the official law of the city.

For instance, the current Consul could make an Imperial Decree that would ban certain taxes or do all sorts of fun stuff. It will give the Consul a cool priveledge that will make the offiice more fun. Also, we could give the other cabinet positions powers in the future.

MessageI'd support if Solion is in the mountains really high up, and is quite mystical and a lot of people in the other regions believe it's a myth.

MessageI can't tell if you're being sarcastic, but ok, it will be high up in the Essalian Mountain range @ an elevation of 9,000 feet. It'll be a lot like Lhassa in Tibet.

MessageI'm not being sarcastic. I'd only support if if most people believed it to be a myth and if it had barely any power or was like the illuminati.

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI).

Random quote: "I am working for the time when unqualified blacks, browns, and women join the unqualified men in running our government." - Cissy Farenthold
