Message | Rt Hon Harold Macintosh MP, Health Secretary: Madam Speaker, our Party is divided on this issue. It is well known that Duchess Thompson changed the party's stance and we came to accept a mixed health economy. Even Duke Carter promised to retain the status quo. However, many of our backbenchers would like to see if there is appetite in the country for change and I am therefore obliged to present this bill to Parliament. |
