MessageMadam Speaker, the honorable ladies and gentlemen will notice that this budget does not increase spending by much-- indeed, the current surplus more than covers the marginal increase. However, there are some radical changes. Most important, the previous 30m lira budget for the office of the Prime Minister has been entirely eliminated and the funds redistributed: Ronald Quinn, the former speaker of the house and current PM, is an extremely rich man and can pay for his own expenses out-of-pocket. Certainly the Party, which is part of the Lusk apparatus, also has deep pockets and can make up any shortfall. The Finance Ministry has had its budget reduced, as has Justice and Food and Agriculture, in light of expected efficiency increases. Education receives the biggest bump, and there are minor adjustments to Health and Trade. In the next budget, we plan a small tax increase, which should provide for a major investment in Infrastructure, which has been sorely deficient.

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself.
