Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2137

Description[?]:

With the current laws of The Republic of Hobrazia in mind, the laws regarding Extradition of suspected criminals to foreign Nations may only occur as long as said Nations do not persue a policy of capital punishment or if they are suspected, or known, of treating suspects and convicts with cruel or inhuman treatment as part of their Justice system.
If any of ther above clauses are breached by Countries requesting extradition then the Hobrazian Justice system will try said convicts and allow foreign prosecutors to prosecute the suspect within the confines of the Hobrazian Justice system.

MessageI believe this goes beyond our power. If a foreign national is charged with a serious crime back in his nation, how can we stop them from their right to put him on trial in their judicial system? How do we determine what is cruel or inhumane? This violates the the sovereignty of that nation, despite our dissaproval of their treatment of criminals.
