Message | We would not support this. We do not understand why it is the government's responsibility to supply contraceptives. |
Date | 23:12:54, April 30, 2010 CET | From | Socialist Party of Kalistan (SPoK) | To | Debating the Individual Freedom Act I |
Message | We fully support this. Public health is a concern of our government. Avoiding unwanted children as a result of an activity people will engage in with or without prophylactics is a matter of public health. If we decrease the amount of unwanted pregnancies through contraceptives, we decrease abortions. That seems like something the CCC could get on board with. |

Message | We would agree to a compromise proposal of providing discounted contraceptives. We simply cannot afford to continue to supply free stuff to people, it is not the Government's responsibility to do that. |
Date | 06:14:42, May 04, 2010 CET | From | Socialist Party of Kalistan (SPoK) | To | Debating the Individual Freedom Act I |
Message | It is the government's sole responsibility to keep the enemies of the citizens of Kalistan from hurting them. Under this definition not only falls those foreign elements wishing to invade us (which is no one) but also the malignant elements of our society who seek to profit off of the labor and effort of the working people in this country. Hence the object of government seems to also include stopping those who sell Kalistani's products at more than they are worth, and promotion of contraceptives at cost, which guarantee a high birth rate, and therefore both increased abortion AND unsustainable consumption of resources. |
