| Whereas Felipe III is a full citizen and a veteran of past conflicts and was seen by multiple witnesses carrying away one navy Captain and two navy Lieutenants while under fire and thereafter coordinated the attack to repulse a enemy vessel let the Senate hereby award him the: Corona Civica (Civic Crown ) -- for a soldier who saved a Selucian citizen's life. Let the Senate know that Felipe III designation as a "retired" soldier only provides him with the luxury of not being in active service but in accordance with the Constitution and several imperial decrees issued to provide the Empire with soldiers in times of stress: Soldiers may after their period of service retire to their homes but at any time be called once again to serve or if dire case arises they should once again enter the service of the Empire should a situation deem it necessary. In other words once a soldier always a soldier. We also ask he be awarded the: Corona Navalis (Naval Crown) -- for capturing a tranport/supply ship or the sinking of a military vessel. We have seen the military reports that have come in that indeed the Vladimir was hit by high explosive rounds fired from a larger military vessel and the whole crew testifies that the enemy ship was indeed sunk. Also Some wreckage of military grade steel has been recovered that would fit on a Heavy Cruiser. In addition to this we as Senator Marcelo also be awarded the: Corona Navalis (Naval Crown) -- for capturing a tranport/supply ship or the sinking of a military vessel. Sonar scans have a recording of the Vladimir successfully sinking a attack submarine while the Senator was leading the attack on the enemy ship after the Officers of the ship had been incapacitated during the battle. In addition to this we ask the Imperial Ship the Vladimir to be awarded the: Corona Navalis (Naval Crown) -- for capturing a tranport/supply ship or the sinking of a military vessel. Our regulations do not restrict the certain awards to individuals and even though both Felipe III and Senator Marcelo served as acting officers during the attack they would have been lost had it not been for the brave men of the Vladimir. In addition to this we ask that any wounded during the attack be given a Wounded Medal. In addition to this we ask that all the aforementioned be given a Ovatio through the streets of Auroria beginning from the Naval High Command Headquarters to the Senate House to receive their awards from the President Himself. |
