Bill: Protocol Expanding the Anti-Terrorism Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Radical Freedom Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2139
Description[?]:
This bill approves a protocol expanding on the anti-terrorism act (which allows the government to veto radical hate-preaching priests and imams). The President encourages this bill as it has become apparent that foreign missionaries travelling to Rutania have been engaging in radicalising religious minorities with anti-government messages of hate. Especially missionaries invited to preach at religious schools are seen as dangerous, as they can affect young and dangerous children with their messages. This bill has two purposes: -Requiring foreign missionaries to register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, so that they may be monitored for spreading a radical message of hatred. -Allowing the Rutanian government to visit Rutanian religious schools to see if these schools are teaching children hateful and/or terrorist-glorifying messages. |

Message | Nevermind, after doing some research and coming across several tales of missionaries actively inciting to hatred and genocide, we agree that it may be wise to know how many missionaries and which missionaries are active in our nation. |

Message | "In light of the recent terrorist attack in the State of Kragusrov, I move that voting on this bill be opened. Unlike the former Capitalist Government Coalition, we don't like sitting around doing nothing." Actually, the last time terrorists threatened a Rutanian embassy you were for running away, but the LIP-lead government held on and got the Nazis to back down. You, on the other hand, are passing authoritarian laws to combat terrorism that you dont even know is religious, and even it was would probably just blow up in your faces. |

Message | We are for international dialogue, but a firm policy against terrorism. I am deeply concerned that the LIP does not want to make the people in Kragusrov safer. |
