MessageWhy 179? Anyway, 250 has been the traditional number of Parliamentarians - and if [and it's a big if] we supported anything it would be an increase.

Message250 seems about fair, 179 seems too few, we need enough parliamentarians to ensure that Jakania can function as a democracy, to ensure that people, all people, are proparly represented and that legalstation can be properly secruntised.

MessageWhat do you think about 251? In theory one could have a situation where two blocks would have 125 seats each

MessageOdd numbers are preferable, I'm not sure what exact number, but I don't think i'll support a reduction. 251 would be decent.

MessageWhy, labour party? WHY!?

There's no argument at all for having 250 over 251. With 250, we can end up with 125 vs 125, and go nowhere..

MessagePPJ, your the one talking about "bi-partisanship" an 125/125 split would facilitate thate.

MessageDon't need to create an enormous small chance of getting 125/125 for the purposes of bi-partisanship. If that's the only way to achieve bi-partisanship, then we're screwed.

MessageSorry for opposing, but as I said 250 is traditional. If we supported an increase it would be in the region of 400+ seats - compared to nations of similar size, we have relatively few Parliamentarians.

Random fact: RP laws follow the same passing rules as in-game variable laws. Laws that are not of a constitutional nature require a simple majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. Laws that are of a constitutional nature require a 2/3 majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. RP laws may be abolished a simple majority vote this applies to ANY RP law.
