Union Socialism Alliance and the Minister of Environment & Tourism feels that if Ikradon would like to be the next holiday spot, that we have to open up a little more to foreigners, but we still need to keep Ikradon for Ikradonians. Minister Solrac Nava proposes to open up for foreign investors, and make traveling easier. The minister hopes to hear the thoughts of Minister Karrigan, of the Department of Trade & Industry, and Minister Tassadar, of the Department of Foreign Affairs on this proposal. All other reactions, comments, question, opinions or suggestion for proposals will also be heard. Also, Minister Maurice Abath would like to propose the start of his 'Modernized Ikradon Project' with the first stage; the restauration of the two main ports of Ikradon, and it's national assembly building, as well as restoring the roads and the creation of a national park: - International Airport of the Socialist Republic - Intercontinental Seaport of the Socialist Republic - National Assembly, which will meet in the newly restored Fort of the Socialist Republic, on Ikradonian Square, which will be adjacent to the new Plaza Internationale - Proletariat Avenue, and Comrade Boulevard, east-west and north-south highways that cross each other in central Magrathea, eventually the main part of a national highway system. - Prosperity National Park, adjacent to United Ikradon Plaza of Mekarali. All these project are the 'Infrastructure & Tranport' stage of the Project, and all based around or in Magrathea.(stage I : phase I) The next step of the project is the Infrastructure & Transport stage, but all around the Socialist Republic. Message | What a disgusting nationalistic rhetoric. Ikradon for Ikradonians. The last time our party encountered that sort of fascist populism it were the times of the Ikradonian Nationalsocialist Party. What happened to Workers of all countries unite? What you propose is literally national socialism. As convinced internationalists we strongly condemn this logic. Whoever wants to join our socialist paradise and flee from the capitalist exploitation in their home countries should be wellcome. Anyway, we would support the proposals made, as they are a step towards more liberal policies. - Kristen Gaines, PCD Internal Affairs Shadowminister |

Message | We should we open up our borders, to a capitalistic world? We think that we need to remain sovereign, and we, as Ikradonians, should keep Ikradon as ours. With majority of the countries of this world being capitalist, Union Socialism Alliance sees no reason to open up the borders more than what was proposed. These proposals would ease travelling to Ikradon, and make possible for foreign investorrs to invest, bu at the same time make sure that Ikradonians still owns Ikradon. Perhaps the Progressive Centrist Democrats sees no problem in a Ikradon ruled by outsiders? Union Socialism Alliance does, and we will always stand up for an Ikradonian Ikradon. Message | It seems like a good compromise between opening our borders and preventing the exploitation of our people. How is letting in tourists fascism? Our nation is not so awful that we have anything to fear from letting people look around it. |

Message | The Dark Templar thinks that all are and should be welcome in Ikradon, but I understand the USAs concern abut letting certain people become Ikradonians. also, we can't agree on article 2 |

Message | The RMS should look at our statements more carefully. We were in no way labeling tourism as fascism. On the contrary. We were explicitly supporting open borders on several ocasions. We tried however to point out that the USA's statement "Ikradon for Ikradonians" resembles much to the times when our predecessors were fighting the rise of fascist nationalism in Ikradon. - Michelle Owen PCD Foreign Affairs Shadow Minister |

Message | Article 2 presents the opportunity and ability of some foreign investors being interested in investing in Ikradon, but they will need government approval for that. This will avoid that all foreign investors can invest, and also allow the government to limit or choose the amount of foreign investors. And this will also tap into the investor's market of tourism, bringing in more tourists, that are willing to consume more. We think that this law change can be benificial for Ikradon, atleast for the time being. Minister Solrac Nava, Minister of Environment & Tourism |

I am sorry, I misunderstood you, your first statement missed out speech marks, so I thought you were saying "Ikradon for Ikradonians". As you can probably tell, our party is not in favour of nationalist rhetoric, we view the interests of the international proletariat as more important than any one state. However, we do not think that this proposal is as awful as you make out. Aside from one unfortunate phrase which you pointed out it is a marked improvement, and would serve the interests of ordinary people in this country and beyond. |
