Message | This borders dangerously on affirmative action, so we're voting to arrest the movement before we can even set foot on ye olde slippery slope. |

Message | Not close to affirmative action. That would be giving a religious or ethnic minority an advantage to enter the military. This change just says that you can't exclude someone because of their race or religion. We are against affirmative action. Also, I sincerely doubt that a person would be counterproductive to the protection of the nation exclusively because of their background or religious beliefs. The military can still accept or deny people as they choose, but they'd have to do it on ability instead of race. |

Message | That's why I said it toes the line, 'tis merely the first step down the long, dark, evil path. It's now entirely up to the Free Democratic Party. We might - MIGHT - wind up changing our vote. |

Message | Think about it MGP, it eliminates affirmative action as it says you cannot discriminate on race or religion, i.e. white people can not be discriminated against. Neither the majority or the minority |

Message | We still believe the military knows best as to what kind of personal it needs. Tampering by civilians rarely comes out for the better. |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
