MessagePrime Minister Mervyn Bijai,

Mr Speaker, given the CLP's long history, we feel that our personal objections are fairly obvious. Our objection is that all people in our nation should be equal and everyone deserves the same level of healthcare. Is that not a reasonable demand? Why should the wealthy be entitled to more medicine, operations etc than poorer people?

Mr Speaker, our opposition is on purely ideological grounds.

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections.

Random quote: "Politics is the system of depriving the proletariat of their power." - Karl Marx
