Message | Mr Speaker, We Oppose very Strongly. We do not suggest the government ought to, however the option must be there in a state of emergency. If the cabinet offices are bombed in a state of war for example, the option needs to be available. |

Message | Mr Speaker, I don't understand the point being made by the honourable gentleman. In the event of bombing, the Cabinet could locate elsewhere quite easily without depriving an individual of their private property. Furthermore, would it be absurd to suggest that the government has the resources to build its own property? |

Message | Mr Speaker, whilst the Labour Party have given us probably the worst example in the world, we too oppose the Act. The government should be able to seize private property if needs be. We do not believe the government should seize every piece of land within the nation but it should have a deterrant that allows us - in extreme circumstances - to do whats neccessary. |
