Bill: Income tax proposal of November 2936

Details

Submitted by[?]: Republican Party of Jakania

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2937

Description[?]:

"Mr. Speaker,

The Ministry of Finance propose this income tax system to better the situation for working families across Jakania. We propose a 100 bn tax cut, which we essentially make up through corporation tax, small budget cuts in bureaucracy and increases in luxury tax. This package must be seen in correlation with the Econ and Budgetary Package Act.

We hope for a good debate."

Abraham Goldfarb,
Minister of Finance.

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire.
