Message | We would not vote for article one: this country is at peace and has no need of this level of preparedness for war. Otherwise, these are most acceptable. |
Date | 00:26:44, May 14, 2010 CET | From | Dark Templar (LL) | To | Debating the Reforms |
Message | yes, I would fully support this but we see no need for article 1 |
Date | 02:50:44, May 14, 2010 CET | From | Union Socialism Alliance | To | Debating the Reforms |
Message | We could only support article 2, 4 & 5, and disagree on the rest. The minister of Infrastructure & Transport finds Article One unnecessary, and our party finds article 3 & 6 too much control by the government. Minister of Infrastructure & Transport Solrac Nava Co-Founder, General Commanding Comrade, Comrade on General Affairs, Union Socialism Alliance |
Date | 16:39:30, May 14, 2010 CET | From | Marxist-Leninist Party of Ikradon (LL) | To | Debating the Reforms |
Message | The people are the government, so we outright refuse to remove 3 and 6. |
Date | 18:51:30, May 14, 2010 CET | From | Union Socialism Alliance | To | Debating the Reforms |
Message | The people are the government, and not vice-versa. The government can not just assume consent whilst they did not give consent, and the government should only own the majority of the industry, and small scale local/regional/domestic industrial operations should be allowed. However, Union Socialism Alliance will hold a party meeting and decide whether to support this bill, or reject it. Maurice Abath Party Representative in the National Assembly, Commissar on Infrastructure & Transport, Union Socialism Alliance. |
Date | 04:38:17, May 15, 2010 CET | From | Union Socialism Alliance | To | Debating the Reforms |
Message | In a party meeting held by Union Socialism Alliance, the party voted to reject the bill. The arguments for the rejection was that the current system "isn't all that bad" and that they would "prefer to leave it as is, instead of bringing the new [proposals] ones in." "We have always been against the government telling us what we should or shouldn't do to our bodies!" was the cry from USA-NA speaker Maurice Abath, stating that "even if we vote it in today, it will take too long to repeal and correct that specific law." Former minister of Trade & Industry, and current minister of Environment & Tourism, also commented on the bill saying that "small private commercial endeavors shouldn't be banned, as it is a way of life for some families, and we [the government] should support them." Union Socialism Alliance rejected the bill with an 39-20 vote. Ashley Peternella Commissar on Justice, Vice-Spokesperson Union Socialism Alliance |
