Message | Prime Minister Peter McCullum; Mr Speaker, this Act will hopefully see the destruction of the private school system, paving a way for equality for all children regardless of economic or social background. This system will work unlike the fear-mongering CLP would have the people believe. This will create a party of the HNP's ideal Hutori, where all children have equal opportunities despote wealth! |

Message | Mr Speaker, this bill is simply an act of class warfare that will benefit no-one. It will not improve the standards of the public sector, nor increase social mobility. If the definition of equal opportunities means that everyone has an equal opportunity to fail, then this bill provides it. The aim, Mr Speaker, should be to raise conditions, not lower conditions, and that is not what this bill achieves. |
