Message | Duke McCullum, HNP Leader, Mr Speaker, the point of prison, is to serve a punishment. Those who are imprisoned should serve justice not by working especially not for money! The people of Hutori are clearly fed up with the current system and are demanding reforms. Just look at recent surveys (http://classic.particracy.net/viewnews.php?newsid=260355&nation=15). Thic clearly illustrates the HNP's point about prison reform and the current system is extremely unpopular and it is in the governments interests to do what the people want! |

Message | Mr Speaker, not so long ago the HNP were proposing that prisoners should be forced to work. More flip-flopping, from one extreme to another. Mr Speaker, I do note that the FFF and HNP are disagreeing on an issue here. Am I to jump up and down and claim that their union is anti-democratic, illegitimate and useless? No, because such simplistic arguments, lacking in nuance, belong only to the HNP. |
