MessageWe remain committed pacifists to the extent that it is possible and prudent to be such, and we loudly argued for steep cuts in the absurd defense budget that existed under the last leftist government to ravage Ikradon, but we feel that the defense budget is now at an appropriate level. Cutting it in half would be quite unwise at this point in time.

MessageWe support this proposal, given that it re-evaluates the priorities of the government. Instruments of war should not be a priority in an era of peace. Health, welfare, education and agriculture should all be prioritised. If we can afford to increase investment while still living within our means then it is certainly worth doing.

Random fact: Moderation will not approve a Cultural Protocol request within the first 48 hours of it being requested. This is in order to give other players a chance to query the proposed changes, if they wish to do so. Moderation may be approached for advice on a proposed change, but any advice proffered should always be understood under the provisio that no final decision will be made until at least 48 hours after the request has been formally submitted for approval.
