MessageRt Hon Duchess Thompson MP, Prime Minister:

Madam Speaker, a police inquiry is already under way, and such inquiries do not need parliamentary approval as it comes under the normal operation of the police. The secret services are also assisting the police in their work.

Madam Speaker, what I would support in terms of a parliamentary-initiated inquiry is how this managed to happen in the first place, in terms of security. I would also support an inquiry into why these nine individuals were not found.

MessageMadam Speaker, this is not a police inquiry as the honorable lady has mentioned, but an independant inquiry, we feel it is neccisary that we have more than one organisation looking into this serious offence against our nation. The inquiry will also address the honorable ladies other issues. One of the reasons we are calling for this is for the fact that these nine individuals where not found, there are many controverisal issues. Furthermore, as it is a governmental proposal, it needs to be passed by parliament.

MessageRt Hon Marquess Spence MP, HNP Leader,

Madam Speaker, i believe that Parliament needs to launch its own enquiry into the tragic events. Surely there needs to be an investigation through the secret services to see how these MP's were able to be siezed in the first place and were unable to be found in the MONTHS after the abductions! Surely an efficient service would have been able to protect the CLP members and/or found them. I also suspect that if an investigation went underway, individuals would have to take some blame for security lapses and sackings for the head of Hutori's secret service.

MessageRt Hon Marquess Spence, Prime Minister,

Madam Speaker, so can we expect the Justice Minister to put forward his findings after the investigation is concluded? I believe the people have a right to know, as does Parliament what happened to our colleagues. The Minister should also inform Parliament what he will do to ensure this does not happen again and who will take responsibility for these crimes.

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map.
