Message | Yes, Madame Speaker, to irresponsible parents! |
Date | 12:21:56, May 28, 2010 CET | From | Conservative-Libertarian Party (UM) | To | Debating the Vaccination Act |
Message | Madam Speaker, many parents object to vaccinations on religious grounds, or because they believe them some of them to be unsafe. There are some vaccinations, Madam Speaker, that some scientists believe increase the chances of autism, and yet the government enforces them. Madam Speaker, this is a fundamental area that should be decided by parents. It in no way makes them irresponsible simply because they disagree with the state. |

Message | Michael Mancini MP, NSC Frontbencher, Madam Speaker, we feel it would be disastrous for Hutori to waste money on providing healthcare for those who contract avoidable diseases such as these. If the opportunity to protect children from all sorts of diseases then we should jump at the chance. The Labour Party rightly mention parents who may not simply be bothered or think its important but Madam Speaker, we need to value Hutorian children and this act ensures a degree of state sponsored safety. |

Message | Madam Speaker, only some moments ago, in a debate on the NSC's Civil Liberties Act, I questioned whether they would support a CLP bill on either reform of vaccinations or public assembly. The gentleman's colleague said: "Madam Speaker, if the CLP propose these Bills and we agree with them, then we will most definatley support them." What changed? |

Message | Madam Speaker, we dont agree with allowing perfectly curable diseases have an impact in Hutori. It is a matter for common sense and my previous statement remains correct, we stated we would support them - if we agreed with them. |

Message | Madam Speaker, we misinterpreted the lady's comments. We read them as meaning that the NSC already agreed with them. |
