Bill: Income tax proposal of June 2137

Details

Submitted by[?]: People's Democratic Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2138

Description[?]:

The People's Democratic Party propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Republic of Zardugal.

Since we have a surplus we thought it best to decrease the taxes for the rich a bit. This decrease is not significant so those of you who are weary about not taxing the rich enough do not need to worry. We dropped the taxes on the income bracket of > 55,801 ZAR from 35% to 33%.

Random fact: "Game mechanics comes first." For example, if a currently-enforced bill sets out one law, then a player cannot claim the government has set out a contradictory law.
