Message | Rt Hon Michael Mancini MP, NSC Frontbencher, Madam Speaker, do we want the media stirring up racial hatred? Do we want a build up of distrust and suspicion? I believe that in Hutori we want neither and this Act would limit the publication of radical newspapers, media centres etc which have a racist agenda. Given we have just ratified the Emancipation Treaty which protects all minorities within Hutori, surely this regulation into hate speech against them is a reasonable next step? |

Message | For reasons of freedom of speech, we will not agree to this. We believe in civil liberties. |
Date | 14:33:16, May 31, 2010 CET | From | Hutorian Conservative Party | To | Debating the Media Act of 2946 |
Message | Madam Speaker, surely this sort of freedom of speech cannot be tolerated, when it is of a racist and discriminatory nature? Given we have passed the Emancipation Treaty, this simply protects the rights of minorities even more! |
Date | 19:47:03, May 31, 2010 CET | From | Labour Party | To | Debating the Media Act of 2946 |
Message | Madam Speaker, we cannot dictate what our people are allowed or not allowed to say! We thought that these people stated their wishes of increased civil liberty! This is obviously not the case! |

Message | Madam Speaker, since when was protecting the rights of minorities decreased civil liberties? Perhaps Labour should reconsider their last statement. I doubt they can tell the difference in fact, given how they manage to mis-interpret so many proposals it is untrue. So much for these so called politicians who cannot understand the idea behind the law. |
Date | 10:04:52, June 01, 2010 CET | From | Conservative-Libertarian Party (UM) | To | Debating the Media Act of 2946 |
Message | Madam Speaker, an attack on free speech from a party now committed to civil liberties? Surely not! |
