Message | Rt Hon Baron Mancini MP, NSC Frontbencher, Madam Speaker, because of all the recent nationalisations, this will limit the span of what little private businesses are left. All nationalised organisations will still be allowed to advertise - as the proposed Bill states. This simply removes another aspect of privitasions exploitation of the worker. |
Date | 09:49:14, June 09, 2010 CET | From | Conservative-Libertarian Party (UM) | To | Debating the Advertisment Bill of 2950 |
Message | Madam Speaker, this is yet another example of the NSC's attempts to erode civil liberties. This is a key part of the freedom of speech and should never be removed. |

Message | Madam Speaker, there are barely any privitised industries left. Does the CLP not realise that? |

Message | Madam Speaker, does the NSC still not understand that numbers have nothing to do with liberty? The fact is there is still a fair number of private businesses and there remains a decent private sector. It is also the case, Madam Speaker, that private individuals may desire to advertise something, for whatever reason. It is completely unacceptable to suggest that only the government should be allowed to advertise. That will simply create a black market. |

Random quote: First and second class seats on public transport shall be BANNED! We are all FIRST CLASS people, regardless of whether we are rich or poor and can afford or not afford to pay for a more expensive seat. From now on, all seats on trains, buses, trams, planes and so on shall be the SAME. We will all travel in the SAME way, TOGETHER. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
