| The Finance Ministry propose to reform the current federal tax structure by removing large portions of the income tax and by replacing it with a national consumption tax set at 20%. We estimate the revenue of this tax to be at 10%. Our estimates, based upon national consumption, show that this change, if anything, will increase our nation's GDP and ability to increase the budget, if need be. |
