Message | Mr. Speaker, We are a nation that desires to represent all people equally. Since you are a member of the Socialist Party, I assume that you would be for total equality. Besides, we know that this is just a scheme to get your party more votes since you have been losing seats since the equal representation standard was implemented. We yield. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Equal representation allows for all people to truly feel that they are equal to everyone else. We are a united nation, not a federation where the interests of one Sheng is more important than the interests of another. The interests of the nation as a whole are more important than the interests of the largest Sheng. I would have thought the Socialist and Nationalist parties would desire equality and a sense of nationhood. We yield. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Perhaps the Diguodang feels more "united" by the sense that a rural state with less people has more legislative power than an urban area with more people because the powers and interests of those with less people (rural areas) support the Diguodang. Those facts aside we believe that the current system is a system that triumphs and favours the interests of one group of people over that of another. That is why the Nationalists and Socialists stand side by side in dismantaling this inequality. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We don't believe in the federalism that you are accusing us of. We prefer to have the national legislature have more power than all other legislatures since the national legislature has the interests the the nation at heart. That is why we believe in equal representation. Proportional representation fuels sectionalism and federalism. The nation becomes less united. We yield. |
